Six officers can secure the hallway in the distance between the one with the camera and the victim. Saying they wouldn't be able to do that is a bit of a stretch.

didnt say they couldnt, but how much threat do you want to put your self in when the subject could just crawl 15 feet. neutralize one threat then move on to the next.

I am an armed guard and we have police and other shit like this to deal with DAILY, this jackass of a psychopath cop was entirely wrong and clearly has no business wearing a badge.

Yelling and being loud is for people NOT complying with your instructions, known felons, or clearly armed people who are a threat. The girl and boy clearly are complying with the cop and have ZERO indicators of violence, look clearly drunk, and is terrified after the guy starts shouting and being a complete hard ass for NO REASON.

These drunk kids tell him "no one else is in there", they are not trying to be anything but compliant yet this "cop" continues screaming at them and giving confusing instructions plus telling them he is looking for any reason to use lethal force. If these were two gangbangers, thugs, punks, gang members, bikers, or violent people then his tone would be correct, but these two are just scared drunk kids and there is NO reason for him to keep his shit attitude.

The boy clearly is confused multiple times by his instructions but when trying to ask for clarification is just told to "shut up and do as he is told" it is amazing the drunk kid lasted as long as he did with this guy and his conflicting instructions. A cop is to assess the situation and act accordingly not act hostile when the people are not resisting or not being problematic.

This "cop" murdered an unarmed boy, his poor instructions and hostility got someone killed for NO REASON, this guy should be in fucking jail awaiting his death sentence for this, the shot was bad, his handling of the situation was a fucking joke, and there was atleast 1 other person who could have walked over and arrested this kid once he was on the ground, hands on his head. The hallway is being covered and anyone wanting to fight the cops would have done so while this jackass was shouting confusing instructions.

The cop set up the situation to shoot someone. He was overly aggressive and gave contradictory instructions while telling him to shut the fuck up. Cop had "you're fucked" ingraved on his gun, which was inadmissable in the trial. Clearly he had issues.

Guess some of you have never faced fear on this level, but it can totally paralyze you, especially given a person reaffirming several times you will get shot and killed for any mistakes. Processing goes out the window. He was pulling up his pants because he would have fell sideways while crawling, which the cop reaffirmed had to be "face first" or he'd be shot.

Dude had no escape. They should have called for more backup and left the guy on the floor till he was cuffed.

Yup. Another case of very low standards in who makes it into policing. Going by intelligence and temperament this cop is probably not fit to do anything above some minimum wage job.
