Yes, those teams OF SINGLES GUYS really needed help getting over. That's a really dark era of tagging in WWE because it was clear that these were just singles guys schlepping down to the tag division because creative had nothing else for them. Compare that to the Usos, New Day, etc. These are teams that function best as a unit, that provide cohesiveness to the division, that help prop up titles and get the competitiveness of a division over.
