At most I might have said that I wouldn't care if Cuphead had a God Mode or something.

Thank you, that's a point I've been trying to get at for a while with ZP. I agree that many microtransactions are structured in a way to take advantage of vulnerable people like kids or people with gambling issues. And I think it'd be good to do something to curb those practices as well, like ZP.

Because it's pure fucking laziness, GameFreak are some of the most notoriously lazy devs in the industry up there with Bethesda and we shouldn't be patting them on the back for using nostalgia to hide the fact they're struggling to come up with new and unique Pokemon and don't want to put in the time and effort to do that.

What are you even talking about? I'm staunchly against microtransactions if they're anything more than cosmetic, and agree they're becoming problematic. I don't think loot boxes should necessarily be banned, but I wouldn't mind seeing some regulations put in place, like age limits, spending caps, or mandatory odds listings like you see on lotto tickets.
