It's also...I don't know how to describe it, nostalgic whiplash? lol. My thoughts on this album's placement with his others: Eminem Show > MMLP/2 > Revival > SSLP > Recovery > Encore > Relapse River also should have been the lead single prior to album release, would have gotten more hype imo. I like both WoW and Untouchable but, meh. Yeah. And then the choppy flow you mentioned, not sure if there's a term for it either, but I personally can't stand it. Like he's always done that a bit having sort of enunciation points, but he's cranked it up a lot more and personally the choppy flow doesn't suit his talents at all. When he was doing it in the Trump freestyle for example I was just cringing because he has such a strong technical talent for flow yet he's not using it. I hated it on Walk on Water too. But like I said, things like Rap God show he hasn't really lost his technical ability at all, he just seemingly chooses not to do it anymore for whatever reasons.
