The PC tech board is slow so I'll try here

In certain games my FPS drops low and is noticeably laggy even if I go into medium settings it's still the same

Some games I can max fine with no problems. I played the new Star Wars game briefly and it ran smoothly yet games like Injustice and Street Fighter V have this slow down problem

The weird thing is that sometimes it's completely fine other times it's unbearably slow. Could it be my temps? PSU? processor? I'm stumped here

i5-4570 Processor
8GM ram
Gigabyte 1070 GTX
EVGA 600 psu

Check your drivers and also check to see if your GPU isn't switching to the onboard one

If you have onboard graphics or a "gaming motherboard" make sure whatever game you are launching is using your 1070 by default instead of those (right click exe > run with graphics processor > change default graphics processor). Sometimes games accidentally use my onboard graphix for some reason.

Well I run my games in steam. Is there a way to change it there?
