Barrel is a fantastic user, even if I just take him from a Save My perspective. Great character taste in SMFFFC. But, more importantly, this: he's just one of those great users I wish would post more. Like FBike, I value the content he provides as he's just a solid, thoughtful user.

Really appreciate this! I wouldn't always think of myself as being thoughtful >_>

I think this probably says more about me than GMUN, but I've had interactions with GMUN and have seen GMUN's name all over the place on the board, and I have no sense of GMUN's personality, likes, dislikes, anything. I couldn't tell you why.

Let's complete the trilogy.

Outside of Save Mys, Chris, I think you've actively tried to be less of what you are in Save Mys as of late. I think for a while, you were bleeding the "Sir Chris" personality into every post and you became a caricature of yourself. Competition does tend to breed absurdity into people, distorting everyone into the very worst version of themselves, and I would say that you're no exception.

As I recall, your first interaction with me was not exactly a fantastic first impression for either of us. From there, however, I came to understand what was making you tick on the board. E-pop on the board is very different from e-pop in a Save My, and in your case it caused you to often be unpredictable. Equal parts caustic and genial. It seems to me that over time, an entire generation of Board 8ers had become increasingly disenchanted with the board and its denizens, and they had retreated into cocoons of personality.

I feel like this stems from both internal Board 8ery (you gotta keep trying to surround yourself with fresh faces or the mindset just becomes toxic) and external life beating people down. I feel like being able to take a lot of Board 8 granted led to you doing just that when you started hitting some rough patches in your own personal life. And then the great disappearing act came to happen, and I'll admit - I was unimpressed.

From an outside observer, it looked like you went Steve Austin. Took your ball and went home. But as I've come to understand it, there were other mitigating factors.

Your stock with me hit an all-time low because it felt like you were sort of spiralling out of the normal Chris I had grown accustomed to. On your return, it seems like you've been a much more measured and positive person. That's a great thing, and this is a Chris I vastly prefer.

MI is a gauntlet crew member, and one that I wish dropped by more often. In all honesty, MI is one of the coolest motherfuckers on the board. I always want to chat with MI; he has sort of a weird Board charisma. He's so damned likable and friendly, and he has a generally good taste in everything. It's too bad that MI seems to have a happy adult life because that's cut a lot of his board time down. I would never wish unhappiness on anyone, but hopefully he'll find some free time to show up and post more in 2018.

I personally like Leonhart. Honestly, at this point he's better than Jeff Zero, who has become a valueless individual who won't even stick up for Dragon Age: Inquisition when I need him to. But as for LeonhartFour himself, I like him. He's one of those users who simply shares their thoughts and experiences in games and tv shows (etc.) not for some sense of superiority but because I think he enjoys discussion and finding new pieces of media to experience constantly. As a contest runner, I think he's held to high standards, and I think no contest runner can ever really live up to the insane expectations of the ravenous playerbase on this board - but like many of them, I think Leonhart does a decent enough job (really, compare any of them to gravy and they look great).

I'd like to get to know Leonhart better honestly.
