That was the most pandering, indulgent shit ever, but I don't give a fuck.

Black Swordsman Kiri...uh, Haseo, was sick as hell. Skeithenik/Corbeith was 10x better than any Avatar battle in GU, Ovan in the party. That may have been like 3 hours, but damn if I wasn't pleased.

Also, fucking hype at the obvious tells that they're making another series. Even ignoring the message at the end, Piros III basically just tells you when you go talk to him after credits. It was odd to me that they were using identical assets, but it seems clear that this was basically an elaborate promotion for whatever the next series is, so it was likely on the cheap.

Amazing that they got all these VAs back, though it's a little off that Atoli's is noticeably improved since the last time, as well as Liam O'Brien.

Vol 4 is pretty awesome starting about when Haseo gets 5th Form. It's so stupid OP but so much fun. And Ovan as a team-member (with the AIDA arm!) is maximum hype.

The Avatar Battle is good, but I disagree with it being the best. Best is still Corbenik 2. SURPASS YOUR LIMITS!

Just wish there was more content/postgame. The Ovan request was a good postgame quest though.

Unfortunately I leveled to 140 in volume 3 soon after getting Xth form out of impatience to equip Taihaku's blade, and as a result pretty much every enemy from then until the last 2 dungeons in volume 4 died in 1 to 3 hits.

It's kind of amazing how scraping through 1 dungeon 10 levels above you for about half an hour in this game can completely negate the gameplay in the story missions for the next 5 hours to come or more.

Yeah, Vol 4 is a joke if you come into it at max level - which you will if you did Forest of Pain in Vol 3 (or just played around a bit there)

I made an effort to keep myself at the "right" level in Vol 3 for the story but you don't really have a choice in Vol 4 if you transfer save data after doing the Vol 3 postgame.
