Yeah. It's probably horrible dated, but I still love it. As far as vigilante revenge flicks, it's pretty high up there. The movie is seeping with gothic overtones, though, so if that is not your thing, it probably won't tick any boxes for you. The sequels are some of the worst sequels in history, though.

Honestly, No. 2 has all the right elements. Everything about it should work. But no, it just goes off the rails.

It's aged pretty bad and is practically an unintentional comedy. Loved it as a kid but laughed my ass off watching it with my gf awhile back.

For the most part, I think the movie still holds up. It's kind of like a much more violent superhero movie.

One aspect of the film has become super cringy now (the rooftop scenes). Other than that though, I loved it and only saw it for the first time a few years back.
