Like just an FYI, it'd be hard as fuck for a lone wolf to bring down a horse on its own, but you're claiming a pit bull can do it with no problem

Like what

1. There is no such thing as a lone wolf
2. Once the pit bull bites the horse's throat (which is a huge target) it's over

1. Arguable, but typically yes there is no such thing as a lone wolf for a good reason. Because it's extremely difficult do take down large animals even if you're a large canine like a wolf.

2. Yes, because we are suddenly going to assume that the horse is going to be attacking the pit with its mouth

I'm under the assumption that you don't know anything about animals at all, and are just shit posting at this point

1. There is such a thing as a lone wolf. Wolfs sometimes stray from the pack for a number of reasons.
2. You do realize that wolves are much taller and heavier and have a far stronger bite than a 50 lb Pit Bull right? You do realize that a wolf's canines are much longer than any domestic dog right? A lion often needs help to take down a zebra, and you're saying that one medium sized dog can take down an animal that weighs a 1,000 lbs?

Fortunately, we don't have to just imagine what a pitbull vs horse fight would look like, since sure enough, if you Google it, these vicious kill-dogs have been caught on tape attacking horses plenty of times.

So go look how the fight pans out. It usually doesn't turn out too well for the pitbull

Here's a pretty non-graphic and clean video of a pitbull barely even managing to stand its ground vs a full grown deer buck.

Pit bulls are pretty good at attacking humans, but not so good at attacking quick, muscular animals that are used to dealing with this kind of shit.

Because these animals run like fucking mad. There is no guarantee that a single lion will even catch the zebra before it gets tired. Lions tactics involve getting as close as possible in stealth and ambushing as close as they can. They're not afraid of losing the fight, they're afraid of the prey getting away. Multiple lions are involved to reduce the amount of escape routes and increase chances that one can get close enough to catch a straggler.

If a pit bull attacked a horse, the horse would most likely run away. If it stayed to fight, it would lose, much like a zebra would lose against a lion except the lion is even stronger.

As to a lone pit taking down a horse... xD you cannot truly be serious?

No fucking way dude. My best friend has 3 pitbulls and my dad's ex had 2. They are all super nice and all they ever wanna do is cuddle and lick people.

I also have 3 horses. I'm guessing you've never really been around a horse up close, cause they're fucking huge dude. If a pitbull acted aggressively against a horse, they would get kicked and the face and killed. Literally even if the pit somehow got right in front of it unaggressively, and then just decided it wanted to kill it assassin's creed style, the horse would still just buck on its hind legs going NYEYAYAYAHAHRHRHRH and kick it in the face and kill it. Or like you said, it would turn around and run, but first it would kick it in the face and kill it with it's hind legs.

I've been involved with dogs for over 20 years and worked with bull breeds and all kinds of mastiffs, I think I know what I'm talking about.

Anybody can say that a dog is a Pit Bull including owners and breeders, that doesn't mean that it is. That's how people like you think "Pit Bulls" can get up to 125 lbs. Most of the people that I run across that say they have a Pit Bull actually have an American Bully or some Bull Breed Mix.

You have to go through some pretty intense conditioning to train your pet tiger not to be a vicious killer

This is not true. Tigers raised from birth domestically as housecats will behave exactly like housecats. The reason you don't keep them as pets is because they behave exactly like housecats but are 100x stronger.

Same deal with something like a Chihuahua and a Pitbull.

My sister had a chihuahua that was fucking vicious and would try to fight anything.

Fortunately it wasn't capable of killing us all, because that fucker would've.

This is a list of strongest dog bites, which was referenced by a secondary website. The validity of this hasn't been checked since I didn't see the actual study or article. Still some food for thought.

Kangal: 743 PSI
Doberman: 600 PSI
English Mastiff: 556 PSI
Rottweiler: 328 PSI
African Wild Dog: 317 PSI
American Bull Dog: 305 PSI
German Shepherd: 238 PSI
American Pitbull: 235 PSI
Dutch Shepherd: 224 PSI
Malinois: 195 PSI

https://www.caninejournal.com/dog-bite-statistics/

Pit bulls are the top 3 most likely to bite, and in the top ten for strength of bite, which I guess makes them the second most dangerous behind the American Bull Dog.
