I'm just annoyed that it isn't Finn and Rey.

If the leads are a man and a woman, they'll be lovers 4 out of 5 times. But if the male lead is black, that's when the male lead is just a friend or has a minority love interest. Disney does have a black male / white female couple with Luke Cage and Jessica Jones, so I can't act like they've never done it, but I think Rey and Finn had a legit chemistry together and would've made for a good couple.

idk, I feel that the relationship between Finn and Rey is more "pure" as a friendship.

and you can tell that they deeply care about each other.

Some of us just kinda put two and two together after all the scenes in the past two movies that played out like a liberal wet dream. Not hard to figure that one out, especially since it was painfully obvious this character was created out of nowhere solely to be a love interest for Finn.

Anything that makes conservatives particularly mad is pandering to SJWs because they thrive on conservative outrage for some reason.

As much as I don't care for shoehorned romances, I have a greater dislike for the system dodging that trope simply because the guy is black.

Rogue One
- Guy and girl are both white
- They become a couple despite no chemistry

The Force Awakens / The Last Jedi
- Guy is black and girl is white
- They're just friends despite chemistry

So, yes, in as many words, I'm saying Star Wars would've made them a couple if Finn were white.

It was a good movie with two specific moments that were really lame:

1) Princess Leia flying like Peter Pan through space back into the spaceship after being blown out of it by the blast

2) That Rose girl knocking Finn away from the cannon and then saying that dumb line about "it's not about destroying what we hate, it's about saving what we love" and then falling over (I thought dead but apparently not) in the cheesiest way ever, like something out of an SNL skit.
