Experiment with combat. A lot of people, myself included, had trouble with a mechanic or two. If you do, don't hesitate to ask on the XC2 board or shoot me a PM, even.

Don't sell any treasures. If you have accessories or aux cores you don't want that's fine. There are special treasure NPCs that give you way more money for the treasures than a typical merchant shop.

Common Blades aren't as useless as you might think. After chapter 3 you unlock the Mercenaries option, to send out Blades for EXP, money, items, and skills for those Blades. Commons are very useful for this. Be sure you have a healthy amount of each element, especially if they have more than one field skill.

Don't worry about money, you can earn a shitton of it through salvaging, especially starting in chapter 4. As in like a million in ~30 minutes. Seriously, when you see that sexy 500k special core, don't sweat it.

With your party members, stick to their roles (Attack/Healer/Tank). It can be harder to do, as the rare Blades you get are random and the item to transfer them over is more uncommon, but story/fixed rare Blades will help a lot.

Explore, explore, explore. The map can be tricky, especially combined with the less-than-helpful quest tracker, but it's a lot easier if you're aware of the layout beforehand.

If you want to overlevel, all you have to do is sidequests.

I can imagine how excited you would be hearing kpop on American radio. I assume it was a pop or mix station or something similar? I've been wanting to hear an English version of some song, but it hasn't happened yet. Maybe the Wonder Girls or someone did before I heard the radio very often.

I was super excited lol. Had the volume turned all the way up, of course. It was a Top 40 station, it was a daily segment where they played the day's most requested songs. Mic Drop was #5.
