My family is pretty conservative and anti drug but I read medical weed is sometimes used to cure chronic migraines which are bad for her and put her in bed a lot.

I've only ever gotten a headache if I already had one before smoking. It can turn one into an evil pounding mother fucker.

Usually from dehydration.

Anyway, I couldn't say because I don't get severe migraines. Aleve takes care of any headaches I ever get.

She takes medicine but it's either not strong enough or helps but has other harmful side effects. One made her weak and hard to stand for example.

Oddly enough, migraines are still one of those things we don't fully understand.

I've never gotten a headache from weed unless I was smoking absolute garbage weed where I had to smoke a quarter just to get baked. And sometimes with oil

Look into Eletriptan. Usually takes my migraines away within the hour. Can leave me a little lightheaded or out of sorts, but totally worth it to get through the rest of the day.

It's highly dependent. When people say weed helps them with x, it has to be a certain strains. You can't just start smoking weed and say, cure migraines, anxiety or other things. Because if you get the wrong strain or something not cured properly, then you'll worsen those things.
