Youre so tired that you cant even sit upright and your body is basically forcing you to lay down, but laying down makes the headache more and more painful, so you sit up as much as you can before laying back down and having the pain get worse, just hoping you can bear the pain long enough to lose conciousness and hoping further that it will be gone when you wake up again.

I've had close encounters of the 3rd kind with migraines.. Had plenty of Headaches..
which is one of the reasons 10 years ago I became a healer, and to this day, I am relieving people of their misery with headaches/migraines and general body aches..

Tylenol + aspirin + a magnesium supplement + caffeine. You'll have some mild relief, at least. Just be mindful that NSAIDs (aspirin) are very rough on your stomach. If you've ever had severe acid reflux or ulcers, then forgo the aspirin.

Only if you chronically OD on it. Short-term use is perfectly safe. It's not even that risky to take more than the approved maximum dosage if you absolutely need the relief. Even an ER would consider administering very large doses of acetaminophen to supplement opiods for extremely painful circumstances like passing kidney stones.

Oh i prefer Aceta, over opioids any day of the week. But i've seen cases, even just regular use, people having cirrhosis due to Aceta. Not to mention, Acetametaphine, is now proven to cause ADHD in babies.. and guess what shit only pregnant people can take.. acetametaphine...

Avoid all pills and shit and see someone like me.. who can get rid of headaches, and migraines, and leave you feeling better without the buzz of pills. $50-$60 first visit at your local Massage Envy.

Can't you just take some ibuprofen and drink some water to get rid of it?

I have yet to find something that gets rid of migraines. If I notice the aura/prodrome then sometimes I can act fast enough to downgrade it into just a bad headache. I use butterbur/feverfew extract and magnesium supplements every day as prophylaxis, which seems to help - I'm down to two or three migraines a month now. When I get one I use Excedrin Migraine usually, stick my head under the coldest water I can stand for twenty minutes, then I found a foofoo magnesium oil, lavender and clove mix to rub into my head. After that I go lay down in the dark with an ice pack on my head, a blindfold and earplugs. Sometimes they're intense enough I can't even keep water down and I need to go to the ER for fluids and antiemetics. When I don't have intense nausea and vomiting with my really bad migraines then I'll add a prescription opioid, which is hit or miss whether it'll help or make it worse, or pop hash/CBD oil candies like mad until I'm unconscious.

They still hurt enough that I want to die, but these mitigate the agony enough for me to sleep at least.

1600-2400mg of ibuprofen at first sign of a migraine. I've had them since I was like 7. Sometimes so bad that I'll be vomiting and contemplating suicide because the pain is that bad.

When I was 18 I saw a neurologist. I suffer retinal migraines and he is the one who told me to take that much ibuprofen. It's obviously not an amount you can take daily but I typically dose that much every 6-8 weeks or so. It almost always stops the majority of the migraine within 30 minutes.

For those who get migraines: are they as debilitating as they're made out to be? Like...can you be productive at all during a migraine?

It depends on the person. My best friend and I are functional during migraines; but barely. It still sucks major mong and we can't keep up activity for long. My sister in law on the other hand is incapacitated for about a week.

Depends on the migraine. Sometimes though they're so bad that even the slightest bit of light causes extreme pain. There have been many times where I've had to unplug or cover every light in my bedroom (even tiny led lights on consoles and shit).

If I have a bad one, the only thing I can do is take a bunch of ibuprofen and sleep for a couple hours. They usually build up to being unbearable though, the early stages I can still be a bit productive.
