I liked it better back in the day, when they would just started screaming "I HAVE A BOYFRIEND" when you tried to talk to them. Now they talk to you for a week to get the validation before telling you to fuck off.

So I've been home for three weeks now and there is a girl I've been seeing consistently the entire time. I'm on Recruiter's Assistance rn for the Marine Corps so the hours are pretty flexible and free and I always have weekends off so I was taking her out and fucking a lot.
Prolly the first girl I've legitimately cared about even though I've known her for so little compared to ones in the past :| buuut yesterday I wake up, go to the office for a safety brief over liberty on Christmas, look at my phone and she's talking about how she still has feelings for her ex. Now mind ya, we've been anticipating and planning to do shit this week for over a week and suddenly it's not a good idea for me to go get her anymore. Then she says she needs time to think and I tried talking to her this morning but she doesn't open anything and I'm not the one to chase a girl when I know I'm not wanted so I'll take a hint here.
