Looking for advice here cause I'm being taken advantage of by a nurse. I'm scheduled on a separate unit in a facility with my own charge nurse and another nurse in a different unit wants me to go to her unit and help her aid change residents.

That unit is easy and the aid is just being lazy and so is the nurse for not helping.

Should I refuse? My nurse tells me she'd cover for me if the other nurse calls for me, but won't if the nurse asks me in person cause she's not going to have conflict.

Haha I can confirm working with women in the nursing field can be an easy way to get laid. It must be all the stress and dicks they deal with.

I work for agency so I get paid about $10 more per hour than the average aid.

Yeah sex with coworkers was a benefit to being a CNA. I used to smile when friends say they can't meet women, because I would meet dozens just by going to work.

And nice on that pay, I wish I had gone to an agency had I known then. I did four years in nursing homes and still miss parts of the job, but not the showering people because I hated doing that because I would get so sweaty with all the hot water and scrubbing.

OT if you're not busy than go over and help because being busy helps the time go by faster. If you're doing well working in a nursing home it means that you are a worker so you know that it's better to have busy than be bored.

So what if they're being lazy about it, just tell them to get you snacks to make it worth your while. Everybody like snacks.

I guess you're right. I can't stand lazy people at this job. It's so easy, yet they just want to get work done faster or ignore a task so they can sit down or have a smoke break. I wouldn't do this if it wasn't for the high pay. I make almost as much as the lpns lol
