IMO, I can see Trump having only one term as President since George Bush Sr, providing that he doesn't get impeached & removed before 2020.

Most of this country is already sick of him, & it's only been year #1. I can't imagine what it would be like over the next three.

I agree, hes not looking good at all currently. Of course, hes got quite a bit of time to improve his perception and odds, but I dont see it happening.

Quite a few of the conservatrolls on here have stated that he pretty much has the 2020 election on lock already. Its adorable tbh

They're starting to make a comeback. And at this point, I'm positive that most people will be voting Democrat just to get rid of Trump if he runs for presidency again.

Most of us in this country, want a real, actual normal president who doesn't do shit such as spending time attacking minorities like myself, women, the media, etc. & will be tweeting all of the damn time.

We have more job opportunities, more health insurance options, we've got a tax cut, ISIS is broken and on the run, the UN has been put in their place... Trump will waltz to a second term.

He'll definitely get at least this term as impeachment will not happen. The Repubs won't impeach their guy, and the Dems have no power right now. It's two years too early right now to know if he'll run for a second term.

The dems are pretty irrelevant right now as they caused much of the problems too and can't talk about any real issues as they all have the same corporate donors to help. They can't talk about income inequality because their guys Clinton and Obama made it happen too.

This tax bill was going to be horrible and the Dems never even proposed anything else at all? They serve the same corporate masters and nobody likes them but so what? If they have nothing to say but **** Trump and Russia Russia Russia they'll lose even more power ten months from now.

**** them they are the inauthentic opposition party and are as much a part of the problem as the Repubs as they're together the two sides of the same coin. And that coin is in who's pocket? The business party never loses.

Three years is a long time in politics but right now I see Trump not running for reelection and can seriously see the 2020 election being whoever wins the Repubs nominees vs Michelle Obama.

Think of it this way, Hillary thought she had it in the bag against Trump and managed to lose.

Now we've endured Trump. It'd be like limbo-dancing under a pole attached to two basketball hoops for the Democrats to pull this off. The fact they couldn't last year is astounding in itself but there's no chance in hell that's going to happen again.

I said back during the election he would be a one term president, not because he can't make it two, but I literally see no reason for a billionaire celebrity to put himself through this for 8 years. Especially Trump since so many people hate him now. He can say he's been president, had a star wars like revenge plot line against Obama and the media, and can retire in luxury.

As for the idea that he couldn't do 2 terms if he wanted to, what did the polls say the night before the election? What did the morons on msnbc and the talk shows say when he announced his candidacy? If the last year has taught us anything, it's that anything is possible.

The Democrats will find a way to screw up an easy, obvious victory. And they're the party we're supposed to depend on. A lot of Democrats do this a lot. They'll say "we will definitely get them next time. The Republican party is dying." and yet there is never this huge purge of Republicans from office like they say what will happen.

Also, people said the same thing about W. Look what happened.

The only reason he "won" was because about 57% of eligible voters stayed at home & didn't vote at all while believing that Hillary would automatically win (as well as having Russia's help). Even so, he barely won.

You can better believe that they won't make that same mistake in either 2018 or 2020.

And also because Democrats couldn't make their mind up over which Democrat was the least bad.

The difference between Republican voters and Democrat voters is that Democrats will split hairs and cast out candidates over every little thing whereas Republicans will rally behind their one true god no matter how many awful things he does so long as he keeps batting for their "team".

So while I hope America gets their shit together this time around I wouldn't at all be surprised if we have another Democrat fallout.
