They just sort of drop you into the middle of all of this stuff and you as the viewer are supposed to suspend disbelief right off the bat. magemaximus 12/26/17 1:24:59 AM #14:	thought it was a good movie. they could have gone deeper with the backstory with the races, but i think they did a good job summing it up. great war a long time ago. orcs chose the wrong side. people have treated then like shit ever since. elves rule the world. also, i don't know if fairy is a race, but we've seen a centaur, dragon (was flying at night), orcs, elves, humans, and fairies. they mentioned dwarves i think. --- You can't persuade fanboys.
