Genesis Sonic was overrated
Star Wars games are great, and the sequel movies are pretty good
Pokemon gold/silver was a strict upgrade of red/blue

I'm not a Metroid fan in general
Smash is good in general
The president one is dumb

For ff, everything after 10 is just bad/vapid. I think the burdens of AAA assets and planning were too much for them.

Everything prior to 6 had good elements- either the story or grindy combat mechanics, but so much just wasn't there yet. Ff5's job system was neat but it can't carry the whole game

Everything from 6 to 10 had its weaknesses, but the overall package was just on another level. Story, pacing, gameplay, music, mechanics were all from passable to amazing
