STAB Brave Bird and Sacred Fire from 130 Attack is no joke
Also has insane bulk (especially sp. Def) so it can roost easily and access to Regenerator so on switch it heals some of that damage it takes from recoil/SR Stealth Rock sucks but I dont think its as prominent in Uber as it is in OU --- Warning: I'm literally VeryInsane. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Gen 5 was when he got Regenerator. I don't know anything about the Uber metagame but that's surely a big part of the reason.
