Not if you stand outside her window with a guitar singing the song you wrote.

It's super cheesy, but it depends on how good you are and if she would appreciate it. Pretty subjective...

Only wrong if you can't sing, otherwise you're showing of your skills, which is a good thing.

Simply writing a song for someone is not lame, it's the context and lyrics of the song that will make you lame. Think twice (or 3-4 times) before choosing to sing your crush a song.

Only if you can't sing and play guitar or possibly piano to it.

Just making a song and and telling someone you made it for them is lame.

The lyrics have to not be cringey or horrible. Avoid direct references to people followed my really mushy I love you shit (I.e. no , "oh, dear Samantha but I love you so much. I knew it would be forever from the first time we would touch) shit.

Song must be presented in person with a somewhat valid reason to be playing music. (i.e you're bored together so you get your instrument out, play a couple songs to blow time and end on that one)

Only if you actually know her, and the song says something personal about her, that she will enjoy to hear.
A song should be a statement of how much you love that person, and love isn't something that you just say outright like - I love you and you're amazing and whatnot - You have to show that love through how much you know her on a deeper level, and a song can capture that perfectly. I write poetry for my fiancee, and that poetry touches themes that we know and talk about, and captures the essence of how I feel about her. That's what romantic art should do, and that's the only way that it will be appreciated.
Also, if you're not in a romantic relationship with her already, it could just be really weird.

I did it when I was like 16 for my gf. I would never do it now since I'm late 20s though.
