The world's smallest inhabited island is named "Just Room Enough".and for good reason because the tiny speck of land off Alexandria Bay in New York State has enough room just for the house and a tree..that's it!

It's one of the 1864 islands off St. Lawrence River that separates New York and Ontario and is part of the Thousand Islands archipelago...

Once known as "Hub Island" it was purchased by a family in 1950 known as the "Sizelands" where they planted a tree and built a cottage that took nearly every square inch of available dry land and renamed it to Just Room Enough

It was intended to be a small weekend getaway but now it's gotten tourists looking at it

It's 3300 square feet or 1/13 of an accre, big enough for a tennis court
