I've watched Marble Hornets. I guess you could say I watch Eckva, although for the past year it's been nothing but bullshit so the guy can pay his bills after he fucked up all his finances having a kid I'm pretty sure.

You should also link the video.

It's the dudes second attempt at creating a quasi-sequel to it.

The first one he did was called Clear Lakes or something, but after like six episodes he had to scrap it and this is him trying again.

It's like his second or third attempt at creating a new internet series.

But the guy who created it pissed off everyone who helped him with Marble Hornets and went broke in the process, so it's been a year of nothing but cheap, spooky animation with the only story being told through a twitter account.

It's good if you just like spooky imagery, but it's clear that he's doing it with absolutely no help and no budget and just seems to be in a holding pattern or something.

I haven't kept up with it religiously, but best I remember is...

-Takes place in the same universe as Marble Hornets
-About some creepy TV station that some person used(?) to watch broadcasting signals to an abandoned house they inherited.
-There's a new monster, but it's not the Slenderman/Operator
-The main character took the pills from Marble Hornets when they were younger.
-recently was captured by said monster and now *someone* is posting to their youtube channel

That's when I stopped watching cause they went on like a hiatus.

For sure. I really don't think they ever captured that feeling of Slenderman looking through the windows again in the series.

It's because it stopped moving.

It became a lot less scary when it was just standing around and "teleporting" everywhere.

Also focusing so much on masked hooligans didn't help much.

I loved Marble Hornets when it first started then it got really boring when he just kept going back to the same spot in the woods and nothing happened, and then there was that break and "season 2" started where he woke up in a motel and I don't think I watched it after that. It lost its charm after like five episodes total and I think I just watched it with the hope that there would be more legit creepy episodes later and there weren't.

In fact they ruined it by dragging it out so much and introducing parkour people with hockey masks and crap.

If it was just like six or seven episodes about seeing some creepy tall ass guy and then the tall ass guy getting the cameraman that would have been so much cooler than the 30 episodes of going through the woods and breathing heavily.

Hit it on the fucking head.

It was funny because when they started making appearances at conventions and shit they'd get all butthurt when people would ask when Slenderman was coming back because they didn't watn people to call him "Slenderman" in their videos since Slenderman wasn't "their" creation.
