Their vote was Destiny 2, most of the comments said Battlefront 2.

Tbh though for me it's Mass Effect Andromeda. If you bought Destiny or Battlefront and didn't know what you were getting into then that might just be your own fault. Pretty much both of these games are just like their first ones, barren at launch, used paid DLC to patch it up, etc. And neither is terribly different in terms of quality. Mass Effect was all kinds of bad after 3 (which honestly wasn't terrible) and was so bad that the entire series might get canned.

Persona 5. Wasn't bad, I just didn't get into it like 3 or 4. Didn't feel worth the wait.

If we're counting updates and DLC, Minecraft's Better Together update was my biggest disappointment of the year. They still only let you use three shitty minigame servers and they managed to turn the Xbox One version into a glitchy mess.

DS3's Ringed City DLC was the second biggest disappointment. It's like they threw every bad design decision from the series into one DLC with the intention to piss the player off as much as possible.

Nights of Azure 2

Easily one of the worst games I've ever played. Love the cast but everything else about the game was absolute shit

I already lost hope in BioWare after playing Mass Effect 2 and watching their downward spiral with DA2, ME3, and DA:I. I had no intention to buy Andromeda and the pre-release info just cemented the decision.

Tie between Forza 7 and Project Cars 2

Forza 7 because they took a great game in Forza 6 and added what I feel is very little in comparison to the stuff they took out (Rivals mode, some of the racing history appreciation)

Project Cars 2 because they have sooooo much potential in terms of the sheer amount of tracks and weather options, but the handling is still inconsistent on controller in a way that kills my enjoyment of things.

If you mashed the two games together, Forza's handling, car list, and polish combined with Project Cars' tracks, weather, time of day options, and career, I think you'd have a perfect racing game.

Probably Sonic Forces. I shouldnt be disappointed, as bad is the norm now, but just for a second, Sonic was crawling back up to non-laughingstock status.

From what I've played this year, Persona 5.
Its a good game, and I did enjoy it, but it had the same problems that I had with P3 in that by the halfway mark I was ready for it to be over with
imo, P4 is the only one that doesn't suffer from that

Prey. 5/10 game that could have been an 8 or 9.

PUBG. There's just very little to the game. Badly needs a specialization system so not everyone is a generic soldier dude, more depth to the gameplay, survival mechanics, anything to make it not so boring.

Are you a big PUBG fan as it is right now? I tried it out because it's cheap, and some friends play it, but it's just so boring without a squad, and even then, it's only because you're bullshitting together.

Still the same shit player builds for EASHL, a dumbed down version of the previously excellent RPG style card and upgrade point system. No GM Connected, yet again, and the same usual focus on the cash cow HUT.

Arcade 3's could have saved it a bit if the matchmaking wasn't shit, you can't hardly find 2 games in a row without resetting the lobby, and even if you are in an actual group of 3 human players, it can match you up against 1 human player that lets the OP defense be controlled by the AI all game and is bullshit.
