Hitler was also the first world leader to establish strict animal cruelty laws and bad human zoos.

No, no I am not.

And especially considering genetic engineering is progressing fast enough now, designer babies will outpace any sort of human breeding programs. As for whether we should embrace this technology, if we don't, we (as country) lose.

To be fair, back then it was pretty much basic knowledge that whites were the master race and superior to all other races.
Forced sterilization and using blacks as human experiments were just a natural step with that type of ideology, and it happened in multiple countries.
The problem is when some countries are so ashamed of their past that they tries to forget or hide their bad part of history, trying to make them look like they have always been the good guy.

Actually, it's an entire ideology based on the idea that some people have genetic traits that are useful and some do not.

The whole thing kind of started with the theory of evolution. Since they didn't know any better at the time they thought they could take the reigns and steer it better than nature. It's kind of understandable if you think about it. I mean they were wrong, but the ideas were all new and exciting at the time and they had no way of knowing it would end so badly.

Just to clarify, I'm talking about when it was all still on the level of theory. When Nazi Germany started putting thought to action a lot of the people that supported their ideas before changed their minds.

Modlogic is Tehdud, a guy who's made a hobby of posting trash and spouting nonsense.

Japan refuses to officially acknowledge many of the atrocities they committed in China during WWII even after China provided undeniable evidence of those atrocities. Then again it's illegal in China to teach about what happened in the Tiananmen Square protests. Then there's the denial by the Turkish government of the Armenian genocide aka the Armenian Holocaust and I believe America somehow doesn't fully acknowledge it as well though that might have changed im not sure.

America has denied and continued to deny a ton of atrocities, quite a bit having to do with the treatment of the native Americans. We've signed countless treaties with the different tribes and I believe that in one way or another we have violated each and every single one of them without any kind of reparations or even acknowledgement in the vast majority not cases.

Fact is that every single country in the world has something to hide. And the bigger countries have far more to hide than anyone else, America is the greatest empire the world has ever seen, so you do the math. Like how it was mentioned ITT that Hitler and Ford got along quite well together, it was far more than that. Ford made a fortune off of his dealing with the Nazi party, and Hitler's rise to power may not have ever been able to get off the ground if it wasn't being supported by the notorious anti Semite Henry Ford.
