Well I mean there hits a critical mass where I'm going to have so much quartz I'm going to want to draw on like Gilgamesh (he had his chance to join my team) or Scathach (I mean NP2 would be cool but I'm not some nut like Koala) despite not really wanting to, especially considering I'm already sitting on about 200 unpaid quartz.

I'd prefer the desirable servants be paced a bit better since I'm not super set on Ilya.

Eh, saving up Quartz is kind of a bad thing in general too, since it means you're going months without getting any new Servants/CEs. Definitely makes you weaker in game and makes things less interesting.

Can't be that bad when everybody is always praising how you can beat stuff with 1-2* (and maybe some 3*) Servants in this game. I like time to save up considering how many Quartz it generally averages to even pull the 1 card you want.

The last thing I need is multiple banners I want to pull on almost all in a row. I understand it's how this game makes hundreds of millions combined with horrible 1% rates, but yeah I always prefer to save towards characters I care about. Like I'd prefer to save for 12 banners in a row than have like 9 of those be banners with characters I want

My friend point summons aren't getting me much of anything. I think I used like 20k or so and only got a dupe of Henry.

I used 180K to get three of the 3 star CE

For every mat you might need this time around, there's a low level and a high level option. For example, if you need Transistors, you can either farm the 20 AP or the level 70 40 AP. For Lenses, you can go 25 AP or the level 80 40 AP. And for Tubes, there's the 30 AP or the level 85 40 AP. (Level 85 is also the best spot for Altrium.)

The higher quests get significantly easier as you get event CEs to boost your damage to absurd levels. Beware that the level 80 quest has Nikola Tesla as a boss and he fucking destroys Sabers. If you want to grind that quest it's worth bringing along a Scathatch with an event CE slapped on her - it basically lets her one shot him with her noble phantasm.

I guess I didn't do all of the 40AP stages yet whoops. I guess I'll focus on the first one for now until I get the last 2 CEs from the shop

The Scathach one is the best one to get CEs from the shop, assuming you have decent Sabers on your team. Would recommend doing that one instead.

This might sound stupid, but the app has a red circle with a one in it on my iPhone. I thought it might be an update for the game, but there isn't one listed. My phone isn't at the latest update so maybe it's about that? This is the only app that shows it though. Or maybe it's about the first red stage being open for the event. Whatever it is everything seems fine so it can't be too important

Yep. Also more like when I have literally 1 exp card I feed into a character SUPER SUCCESS

They put an update into the JP version a couple weeks ago that makes it so it doesn't show the success rate on the last EXP up you give to a Servant to get them to their max current level, so technically you'll never get great/super success on the final try anymore there.

Holy crap the Scat stage is pretty hard though my Altera and Sieg aren't exactly leveled much so that doesn't help. Still though 900,000 Hp is a ton. Makes me wish I had a single target NP Saberface. Got my 3rd Bloom. Is it best to just max limit break it and put it on my strongest Servant or what?

Also got 2 Hearts (one from Daemon on Scat stage and one as a reward) so now I just need exp and my Mordred will be max Ascended

Bring Support Okita with Purely Bloom. I have couple Friends with LB'd Purely Blooms on them and Okita's NP does over 500,000 damage, plus she can crit for over 100,000. Even wish I had more friends using that.

Probably best to LB Purely Bloom right away? It can make a big difference. Those Stars of Altria are huge too.

But yeah. You get four from the shop plus one from Altrium, so you can LB it easily. Even better if you get a drop so you can still have both your frontliners with one then.

But yeah, you get Stars of Altria from Altrium later, so the ideal setup won't even be using more than just one on support + one on damage dealer.

Hopefully I get some good stuff when I summon tomorrow night I think. I think the banner switches at 7pm eastern tomorrow if I'm not wrong on time conversion. I'll have to see what Okitas I can find on my friend list with the Bloom to make Scat easier

Okita makes that SO much easier. I'll be able to farm this Scat stage pretty easily it seems

Yeah, even though I only have 1 Full Bloom but with some planning I can farm Scat with friend's Okita + FB (for faster kill) or Altera + FB (for slightly more longevity and AOE). I love the bonus attack.

And if you have the 5* New Year's CE there's a neat trick with the plug suit, just put the CE on one of the backliner and send him out with the Master Skill when Scat's and the robots' NP gauges are full if you haven't finished killing them yet.

I've just been using the starter Mystic Code outfit and a friend Okita with her Quick Skill activated, the attack buff from the MC and a full Quick chain with her NP does like 700,000 or so damage.

I think I'm a bit confused, are we talking about the New Year CE that gives you a crit star each turn? >_> Not sure how that's relevant if so. Combo makes sense if it's with Poster Girl or something similar, though!

Got my last Bloom from the shop. Also holy shit Scat's stage has been so nice to me. I've beaten it 5 times I think and got

2 Hearts
2 Octuplet Crystals
1 Gear

Feels so good. Guess I'll clear out the red stages that are open. Also I am pretty excited to hopefully pull a Nero,
Saber Alter or MHX tonight. I might not get any, but hey I can hope

Red quests aren't going anywhere so if you're still going to pull it might be good to wait until you're done in case what you get ups your Altrium multiplier. I'm pulling tonight, and if I don't get anything I'm going to do all the available reds to dissuade me from wasting more quartz. >_>

Holy moly, pulled MHX on my first 30 quartz of this banner. Between this and pulling Tesla off a few tickets just before the event started, the gacha is being incredibly kind to me so far this year.
