Warning long post alert.

I want a hamburger. I was just out and could have gotten one. I have hamburger meat at home though and some french rolls.

I am going to make a hamburger now.

Thank you for your time, sorry for posting so much about my desire for a hamburger and the results of that desire.

*No cows where harmed during the making of this post, or the hamburger for that matter. What happened before the hamburger meat was purchased by me, has nothing to do with anything*

PS. Mooooo

PPS. "That means "screw you" in cow language"

I could make a pizza burger, I actually have everything I would need.

But I'm desiring pure beef, so just the burger and mustard ketchup (I do put garlic/onions/pepper into the burger though before grilling it).

I'm pretty sure your burger was not as good as mine will be. It's actually way better to make them at home, I'm just often lazy and places like Red Robin make a semi-decent enough burger, while having unlimited steak fries *mega yum* so that makes it worth it.

Still, my burgers are da bomb.....which I am currently making.

I love beef, but if I actually had to kill the cows.....I would probably stick with just chicken and fish.

Probably.....

2 weeks with no beef might change me.

I loved meat but even if I'm not killing the animal myself they're suffering long and hard to be killed for that meat. Food is still good without dead animals. After 6 months I really can't justify the enjoyment of meat against anything else.

Enjoy your burger!

You know what's really good from Red Robin?
The Bonzai Burger.
It has teriyaki sauce and a grilled pineapple slice.

Sigh I get where your coming from Doctor Foxxx, and I did try and stop eating meet for a few weeks after driving past Harris Ranch in CA.

I may try again some year, or maybe i'll date someone who is a vegetarian and then naturally transfer over as I end up making veg meals for her and just eat the same thing.

I'll probably always sneak a burger on the side every once and awhile though.

I consider myself mostly a carnivor, so converting to no meat, would be really hard. I am just trying to
not eat ONLY meat hehe.

I usually get their cheapest full sized burger (just comes with lettuce/tomatoe/onions), but add an extra burger patty on it.

Then I put A1 and ketchup on it.

Mainly go for the fries, but the burgers are not bad there. Way better then fast food choices at least.

you should try out some of those Beyond Burgers and see how they are to a carnivore. i found them weird because they were too meaty for me, but seems like just the thing for a meat lover that occasionally eats a veg burger. Does not taste like any veggie burger i've had and boy have i had a lot

I'm glad that being a vegan is working for you.
Meat makes me happy so I'm going to do what I do.

Things that go well with burgers...

Ketchup, mustard, AND relish.
Onion rings.
Brie for some reason (cheese in general mind you).
Pizza piece x2. As a replacement for the bun.
Large Lettuce leaves make a nice bun alternative too.
Ham, Pepparoni, or some such.
Chili.
Rice and soy sauce.

i like putting a tiny bit of mayo on the bun and toasting it in the pan, having pickles, mustard, bbq sauce, avocado or guac, and an onion ring on top. Lettuce and tomato if I have them. Give the patty some spices as it cooks. makes for a nice burger.

Hehe I was waiting for someone to say that ^.

It was a pretty plain burger tbh, but very good. First I grilled the french roll with some butter so it had a nice crunch. I put ketchup and A1 sauce on both sides of the bun (not enough to make it soggy).

I seasoned the meat with pepper, garlic and season all. Made it into nice thin square (2 of them to cover the whole roll).

Tossed it on the grill, got a nice char on both sides (wasn't very thick), and boom...it was done.

Very yummy though. I like it simple. The taste of the grilled hamburger is delicious, with just a bit of extra flavor/juice from the A1 and ketchup.

It's just a yummy memory now though.
