Oh good this is still here. I was just thinking of asking you whether you had the volume up or down during "that moment" but I thought this purged. imo the biggest impact of that scene is the scare chord that happens and if you had the volume turned off during that scene it loses a lot of impact.

yeah i think i turned my music off before i went into the house.

i am too familiar with renpy games so i ignored the exception error lol.

Ah, that's a shame, a big part of that scene was how jarring and unnerving that music is since everything before then was soft and relaxing, if not upbeat.
And what, you're familiar with renpy? The only renpy games I've played are this and Katawa shoujo

Oh whoops my bad, then that's good! I mean, just her hanging body will eventually make you do a double take but that clanging noise and then horror whistle is what actually shocked me the most and made me feel dread enough to quit the game and go to sleep.

That moment and first seeing the alien in alien isolation are the only 2 game moments to get me to vocally say something reactively.
