panspermia is the theory that dna or cells traveled on things like meteors that crashed into earth and "infected" the planet with life.

I find that a pointless theory to propose because all it does is beg the question of where that life started. It's something that shouldn't be bothered with for existential reasons, only when evidence arises.

Panspermia doesn't totally answer how life originated, just changes where. It's strange to think there's been life on Earth for about a quarter the time the entire universe has existed, and that the first generation stars probably wouldn't have made elements in abundance to have planets or life like we have now, with the Sun being a third? generation star... makes it hard to imagine where that DNA or whatever would have come from before Earth.

Nothing can really be deduced about afterlifes or higher planes of existence either, cause we're probs in a simulation and that kinda makes anything possible.

I don't buy the simulation idea either on the same principle: who or what created that plane of existence? And that one's creator? And that one's creator...

Why can't our reality be base reality? Especially when we cannot by definition interact with anything outside of our reality. I think it's pointless to discern things beyond our universe because anything outside it is equally possible and nothing is of consequence to what occurs within it.

I don't know if any religion is even close to correct, but I am fairly positive that there is a god(s) or some sort of afterlife beyond our current understanding.

This life is too amazing for it just to be some sort of fluke event. And there's no way I'm lucky enough to win the astronomical lottery and actually be born, let alone an organism capable of complex thought and not some sort of miserable insect with a 24 hour lifespan.

We were clearly put here on purpose, if there is a reason for it or not, I don't know.

Either through some sort of chemical reaction on Earth itself, or organic matter from beyond Earth found its way to the planet and went from there.

Its pathetic people can slurp science but it cannot answer such a fundamental question

So, it's better to just say "God did it" and leave it at that?
