But seriously, TAKE COLD SHOWERS. The mental benefit of them is tremendous. When you stand in front of the shower and turn the water cold, feel the cold mist hit your skin, you start making excuses. You will stand there saying, "I'm just trying to take a shower, why do I have to be uncomfortable doing it... Being cold sucks, this shower is going to suck, and I should just make it warm and get on with my day... It's winter and it's cold outside, so there's no way I'm taking a cold shower

I heard cold showers were good for you, so I started. I did it for about four months, and I hated it. Showering went from a relaxing pleasure to an uncomfortable chore. Then it got cold here and I quit. I didn't feel a bit better. If anything, I'm a touch cleaner and more relaxed now
