I complained to the city a couple of months ago that I'm constantly getting cut off at the intersection near my house by people turning left when I want to go straight (it's a really long private driveway that connects and shares the lights). I usually just go for it cautiously and then honk at anyone who tries to go, hopefully educating them. It's purely a case of ignorance more than them trying to be jerks.
Anyway... I sent them an email and got a reply back from an engineer saying they'd look into it. I suggested a simple "left turn yields on green" sign by placed right beside the light. What do I see there today but that very sign up there, in all its glory! --- "message parlor" ? do you mean the post office ? - SlayerX888 ... Copied to Clipboard!

That's actually pretty sweet. It's nice when common sense and logic prevail.
My town has been adding alot of traffic circles over the years. For the most part they're a great improvement except for the out of towners that don't know how to use them. --- Nobody is perfect. Well, one guy was but we killed him. ... Copied to Clipboard!

My town recently changed one of the worst spots to turn a couple months ago. It has been a real improvement. I think they did it because of the new restaurants in the area, but whatever.
