Can't say I do. I can only guess it relates to medical treatment of some sort?

EDIT:Huh, I kinda guess right. Come to think of it, I have seen the word before when giving blood donation.

it's the process of taking someones blood, putting it through what is essentially a centrifuge to separate the different parts of blood, and then returns what isn't taken back into the person

if you ever donate like a specific thing of your blood, like white blood cells or plasma from blood, you've been hooked up to one of these machines

While I think that's wrong I also was pretty sure it was something on the keyboard. Apparently it's linguistics related as well.

I couldn't, though throughout my education people always said that my vocabulary tended (& continues to do so) to the ridiculously broad. Having said that, though, I've never been physically able to give blood.
