He's a billionaire that runs the biggest company in Gotham City. How about instead of developing a fighter jet shaped like a bat you donate some money into mental healthcare for Gotham, better schools and creating more employment opportunities so ordinary joes don't get suckered in by gangs lead by killer clowns?

Bruce could also be a pretty good Mayor or President if he tried.

The thing is he tries to make Bruce Wayne look like a playboy ass so nobody suspects that he is Batman. He sacrifices his reputation regularly.

Bruce Wayne as a symbol would work way better than Batman tbh. Especially if he ran for Mayor and have the GCPD Waynetech resources.

I think deep down, even Bruce knows this. It coincides well with his support of Harvey Dent in various stories -- he's trying to get someone else to fulfill the role he knows he should be undertaking himself but he won't give up being The Bat to do it.

I think deep down, even Bruce knows this. It coincides well with his support of Harvey Dent in various stories -- he's trying to get someone else to fulfill the role he knows he should be undertaking himself but he won't give up being The Bat to do it.

A lot of this is Alfred's fault too. Surely he could have influenced him into a better direction while Bruce is a child. He's an enabler!
