So you know what Im gonna do when I see someone I graduated with post a whiny message on Facebook about their GoFundMe for their new tires? Or a post about how two people, who constantly post about their relationship issues, are getting married? Or some chick talking about how every Taylor Swift song is So me!!!!?

Im not gonna tell them that maybe they could afford tires if they didnt spend their money on their highly public wine hobby? And Im not gonna roll my eyes and say that their future marriage is a sham fueled by our Nicholas Sparks, Joker and Harley Quinn-saturated romantic subculture. Or that Taylor Swift represents everything wrong with shallow, phony celebrities marketing themselves towards slightly overweight nose-stud wearing girls who wear chokers but, like, as a statement.

No. Im just gonna move on.

But people are dumb. Like, really dumb. Theyre so dumb they dont even realize the fact that people dont change.

I just saw some guy I went to high school with post, for the 3rd time in 6 months, that hes finally going to the gym and quitting cigarettes. Followed by a 10 second video of him flushing his carton down the toilet. He did that already. Back in September.

Nobody changes. People just get worse. And the moment people start accepting that about themselves, the sooner they can get over their own bullshit and start being real with each other.

People are always like Hey! Im gonna finally rise to the occasion and do something! And then the actual work hits them and they say something along the lines of Gee, Ive been working hard (they havent). I deserve a reward by falling back into my old fucking habits that made me miserable in the first place.

Then they keep doing it until the next wave of enthusiasm and zeal for life hits them. And theyll keep doing that until the day they die.
