the first one was great btw but sorely hampered by everything on the mechonis. and not in a story way. just gameplay. it came to a slog.

ive heard X is a huge grind yes

but the thing I didnt like about the mechonis areas was that it was the opposite of the rest of the game. i didnt want tight, ugly, enclosed spaces when the rest of the game was so open and pretty. even though I knew it was coming.

i figure the graphics in X would remedy some of that

ah. i started 2 anyways. so far I'm more engaged with it than I was the first game lol. might just be the way it tells its story.

voice acting is bad though compared to the first. rex is not convincing at all.
