like i realize there are plenty of awful women online

but like

if you're a nice girl, even if you're the most pure person, if you use social media at all you are guaranteed to receive some unsolicited phallus photographs

unwanted messages and advances from weird, strange men

Women can pretty easily meet guys in a variety of ways in everyday life without putting in much effort since societally it's expected that guys approach them. But yes, the flip side is that in social media and in real life they constantly have to repel weirdos/creeps who can't take a hint.

I am I - you are you. These are irrefutable truths. Possibly.

you know, i like the idea that we should eschew calling it feminism because we shouldn't have to have a movement to treat women right

but I think it's important to maintain that feminism as a movement started to correct an imbalance in society and how women were being treated

imbalances still exist today but in much more subtle and nuanced ways than before
they're not new, they've always exist; barriers have to be broken in layers

so really, wanting to forgo the term "feminism" only ignores the fact that women have had it bad in most civilization (comparatively)

nevermind being a minority woman smh
