I like her as a person outside of work. Inside of work I dread talking to her. She has that bad salesperson habit of buttering up every conversation excessively so you end up having a 5 minute social chat before she swoops in with the unreasonable demand, every time.

Sara, I know you're about to ask me to provide you an insanely detailed and useless report and then spend 2 hours right this second going over it, so stop telling me you like my new shirt.

The one who asked if I could temporarily take on part of their big new chunk of responsibilities, then a few weeks later announced they were leaving. So then the things I was helping with became my things entirely. Also, the things they dumped on me turned out to be a huge clusterfuck. I was planning on leaving too, but now I'm gonna look like a dick if I do.

I get along with all of mine. In fact, i seem to be the guy that gets along with employees everyone else has trouble with.

Having said that, one of my supervisors has a tendency to set you up to look bad, then ride in and be the saviour. He is VERY good at what he does in the workplace, but he will totally sabotage you in front of customers, then puff up his chest and be the hero afterward. He never does this when there aren't customers watching and i think it's more to feed his ego than to intentionally make others look bad, but it's going to negatively affect the whole organisation.

I wouldn't be surprised if some people think he's the only competent person there.

I get along with just about everyone, which is crazy rare in a larger scale construction company.

The only one I don't much like has 4 years less experience than me, is 3 years younger, and figures he's the boss when we work together. I mean, he's been at the company longer, but that's never mattered to me. The guys who know are the bosses.
