My mattress is stiff like a brick, but I can't afford a new one. Those covers run like 100-150 for a twin
part of me wants to get it, but part of me also wants to save up for a double bedframe/mattress but I won't be able to afford it for at least another year or two with my current budget. What do? I'm sick of my back feeling twisted all the time cus my bed sucks. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Buy one and continue to use it when you get a new bed.

I used to have one before buying my new bed, like yours my old mattress was stiff/hard the topper made the mattress feel soft and comfortable to use.

I have one that's 3 inches thick I think. It takes a little getting used too, but it's pretty nice. I have a decent mattress, though, so it didn't make much of a difference.
I ended up putting it under my futon mattress for some extra cushion. --- MY HELMET'S ON YOU CAN'T TELL ME I'M NOT IN SPACE ... Copied to Clipboard!

You can often get an actual memory foam mattress for slightly more than the cost of a topper.
