As someone in the middle of (well, still early on given the degree) leveling their first character, this is a somewhat disorienting change.

It's also made loot kinda boring. I did two quests at level 34 that gave me gloves of the same rank, and all their stats were exactly the same since they were both scaled to level 34. So getting gear better than what you had isn't very exciting anymore.

For the people who aren't leveling any time soon, there's several new weapon transmog options. Though I've seen more I didn't recognize than WoWHead has recorded, so I dunno. Look through and see if there's something new.
