Just finished it. Protagonist is a dull, passive subject who gives in way too much to peer pressure, post-pilot. Some characters are intricate like Daniel, Kim, Alan or Bill whereas others have development that takes far too long to dive into or is presented poorly. I think my biggest complaint is that there's a huge lack of positive rewards; show is compromised of 99% misfortune and suffering and 1% triumph.

It's really not that great, I think the only reason it's upheld is because Apatow and the actors went on to do much better things, garnering fanbases that went back to defend his old work.
