Even disregarding the game itself, the production team and casters deserve recognition for the quality of the experience of watching. Disclaimer: I played about 20-30 hours of the game in the first few months of its existence, but haven't really picked it up since. Back then I remember watching twitch streams and mostly just finding it hard to follow... But I got curious after hearing about this league stuff and I've really been enjoying it. The graphics/UI have been very helpful in understanding the gameplay, and commentary/analysis has been super solid so far.

Not to mention in-game 3rd person cameras, coordinated team colors, and top-down maps. Overall, Bravo, Blizz et al.

I liked overwatch for about 10 or so hours. Then it became really stale.

The league is just as stale to me. Nothing really exciting happens since the game is so campy.

It's also so commercialized and arbitrary that it doesn't feel like anything more than a glorified ad.

The game is extremely casual, so it's weird its competitive side is being hyped to kingdom come.

It can still be fun in doses, though. Lookin' forward to the new loot coming out with Blizzard World.

Game is sick af if you play as a team with people you know and you coordinate your attacks. If you play like that, its the best game out there right now.
