I mean, holy fuck. They picked a brand of paint that her dad/my father in law recommended they not use and suggested a different paint brand instead, and the prospect of just going to a store like Lowe's to pick that brand's version of that paint color is an inconceivable ordeal to her. She apparently called her sister/my wife amount it sobbing, and she's texting me in just absolute disbelief as this is happening.

It takes five freaking minutes, lady. You already have paint swatches you like, if you decide to use a different paint just drive to freaking Lowe's and find something close to that. How on earth is she a functioning adult?
