while that would be nice, I would rather them spend time and effort on new movies set in the Old Republic or even the Pre Republic days. more than 10,000 years ago, or 20,000 years. I don't remember how long ago but it's before the Republic existed, and before light sabers existed, and before the split between light and dark side force users. they didn't have words like jedi or sith. then there was a civil war and the dark siders fled and eventually turned into Sith. just a few years before the EU ended, they started delving into this era and then suddenly it was all shut down. but I find that period to be fascinating and would make good movies.

As far as I'm concerned the prequels mostly didn't happen, and the real story of Anakin Skywalker was played out in The Clone Wars cgi series.
