The Gold version gives a bunch of physical and digital bonuses including 250k VC and 40 card packs. I know the micro transactions are a controversial subject, but that a ton of them.

I used to love the 2k sports games on the Dreamcast and Xbox but haven't invested in them since that era.

I was going to get Monster Hunter World, but the beta was clunky and I found myself losing my temper a lot... I'm still toying with giving it a chance, but I've felt like playing a basketball game lately and this deal seemed too good to pass up.

No, and that's a big NO.

I'm still kind of shocked that Battlefront 2 got all of the shit it got over loot crates and 2k shamelessly made 2k18 a true pay to win game, unless you want to grind like 400 games to be respectable online. It's like 3 times worse than it has been in previous years. It's price gouging at it's finest and it got destroyed in reviews for being this way.

The version where you pay literally twice as much just to be able to play online with an overall enabling you to compete. It's ridiculous.
