Current Events > 10 million US dollars, but you must hangout on GameFAQs for life

Congratulations! A genie has appeared before you and offerred you 10 million dollars, tax free. The catch (of course there's a catch) is that you must spend the rest of your life reading/posting on GameFAQs every day. See the detailed terms below:

1. You will immediately receive 10 million US dollars tax free . You can spend/invest the money however you want, but you will be charged income tax as normal on any interest/profit you make above and beyond the initial 10 million. The one exception is that you cannot make any business deals that would give you any kind of direct power over GameFAQs itself or its parent companies.

2. You must spend a total of 8 hours every day, 7 days a week, reading and/or posting on the GameFAQs message boards. Posting is optional. You can just lurk if you wish, but you must at least be actively reading for 8 hours. You can apply to become a moderator if you wish, but you will not be given any special considerations, and you can never rise any higher in the GameFAQs hierarchy than Lead Moderator.

3. As long as you put in your 8 hours every day, you can use your remaining time however you wish. You can break up your 8 hours in any manner over the course of the day. You can perform minor tasks such as eating already prepared food while working. However, anything that would seriously distract you such as playing a game or chatting with someone off of the boards themselves is not allowed.

4. You have a total of 14 vacation days per calendar year when you can completely unplug from GameFAQs. There are no freebies for holidays though, so if you want Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc. off you have to use vacation days. You must email the genie to request vacation time at least 48 hours in advance.

5. You have unlimited personal days you can take for emergencies such as severe sickness, a death in the family, etc. They have to be genuine personal emergencies though. You're dealing with a genie, so don't even think about trying to abuse this.

6. You must continue browsing GameFAQs until the day you die, unless two independent physicians certify that you are medically unable to. You will be expected to continue working at reduced hours if you are deemed capable of doing so.

7. If you break any terms of this agreement, the genie will confiscate all of your current assets, save for $5000 cash and whatever personal items you can fit into two suitcases (and the personal items can in no case exceed $5000 in value). Good luck!

8. There are really no loopholes here. If you think you are clever and know a loophole to scam the genie, you are wrong, and the genie will punish you severely for trying.
