Back when I used to eat DD a lot, it was the Boston Creme donut. And what I voted for, in the poll. It's sad that in recent years I've had so many mediocre experiences with going to DD, that I almost never go to any of them anymore. :( And the fact they truck the donuts into most locations nowadays, is a reminder of the fact their quality has fallen from what it used to be.

A yeast donut is just referring to how the dough rises versus a "cake" donut that uses baking soda. Krispy Kreme's glazed donut uses yeast. Yeast gives a more light melt in your mouth feel.

A yeast doughnut is kinda' the "default" doughnut. I hear them call raised doughnuts more often than yeast doughnuts, though.

And lemon-filled. That's the best. Preferably the glazed lemon over the powdered lemon, 'cause yeah, the powdered are kinda' messy.
