Just went to one place with my sister, and fell in love with half the animals there.

My mom never even really let me have fish growing up, so I have this weird facination with the idea of having a pet. Too bad itd definitely be a bad idea for me to get one right now.

That's true... Though last time I volunteered, I did get a puppy... But you can see them all the time if you volunteer.

She would complain about the fish smelling badly and stinking up the house. And it wasnt like I never cleaned the tank. I have it a good 20 minute scrubdown every week. And I made sure the pebbles werent a festering biome of scrap food and fish shit. And my dad and I never smelled anything either. My mom SWORE it made the whole house smell like a seafood market, and she would try to make our house guests say that the house stunk too, to support her.

Eventually, I had to go away with my dad to Puerto Rico for a week for a family thing, and by the time I came back, all of the fish were dead.

My mom HATED having animals in the house. So much so that she wouldnt even spare feeding fish every few days.

Damn, I just left this other adoption place and fell in love with this one dog. And I wish I couldve adopted him right on the spot. Will post pics later.
