We go to lunch every day and I checked with her yesterday if she wanted to hit up Walmart then Tbell today at lunch. She was down. Some of my coworkers asked if they could give me cash and I grab some stuff from Tbell for them when I'm there. I said sure

Girl flipped her shit and told me I care more about them then her. How I would rather "appease (my) fat ass coworkers" than I would have lunch with her. I told her how sorry I was and I didn't realize it would be a problem since we were going anyway. She said she didn't have time to wait for 20 items, it would take 40 minutes (I just so happened to time it - took 21 minutes)

I got back to work afterwards and she is blowing me up on the IM about how I don't care, how we shouldn't be friends, how we should never have lunch again. Then she said my choice was stupid and "I don't want to hear about your stupid perspective"

Then she randomly said I look like a big fat old pedo in my facebook profile pic and I should have thrown out the shirt I used in it ages ago when she originally told me. I asked her if she wanted to take what she said back since I figured it was heat of the moment. She said no. Then she said how little I respect her and her time. I had a panic attack, cried, and now I feel sick

The twist is this girl is formerly my best friend, but still at least a friend, of 2 years. She is also my neighbor and will not let me ignore her if I try

What would you do?

She is nuts. Immediately cease all contact with her.

I had this happen to my best friend. It hurt, but I decided to cut contact with her. It took a while but she decided to talk to me again and eventually become friends again, but we're not nearly as close as we used to be.

You need a wake up call that this is not acceptable, she might be a "friend" but when a "friend" acts like this you get a restraining order, do not reward her bad behavior, she might start fucking with your car next which could get you killed.

For real. Crazy is one thing, you can reason with people who are overreacting and getting too emotional, but if she says she'd lie to the cops that you raped her, she doesn't care about you. She'd ruin your whole life just because she wouldn't get her way. If you have texts of her saying that, screenshot and save those. Cover your ass and cut her off.

to top it all off i've been majorly depressed for a while now and she wants pretty much 100% of my waking time and i'm too irrationally guilty to stick up for myself
