If that were on its way to earth, we wouldnt be able to destroy it with our current tech even nukes. The problem would be noticing there's an asteroid on a collision course and being able to hit it. Our maneuverability in space is dogshit, basically, and heavily reliant on gravity assists to get anywhere.
