The federal government did not get our opinions or permission. We were not allowed to vote against it, and I think we all know why. Local state governments were scolded and branded racists for truthfully saying that they didn't have the space, money, and police presence to see to all of them. I'm talking tens of thousands.

How would you have voted, given a choice?

Way to demonstrate a complete lack of understanding of what a democratic republic is.

The job of the federal government is not to undermine to desires of the people, contrary to what the Obama Administration wanted us to think.
