It still lets you over draft.
It still charges you an overdraft fee.
All it does is automatically take money from another account to give you a positive balance.

Not that it really affects me.
It has to have been about a decade since I last had an overdraft. But still...

Overdraft protection is really overdraft coverage. It makes sense if you think of it this way. If you want actual overdraft protection, opt out of your banks' overdraft protection.
